100 Hours
100 Hours. ECCO.
Ever bought a pair of boots, only to regret it almost immediately? That’s because most boots need breaking in—roughly 100 hours of wear—before they actually feel comfortable. To demonstrate this, we reached out to four exceptional people: a mixed-media artist, a restaurant owner, a nature photographer and a motorcycle customiser. We handed each of them a pair of ECCO Heritage Boots, and documented their first 100 hours in the boots to see what they get up to. Turns out, a fair bit.
Our campaign’s launch film captures them pursuing their respective passions, aided by the comfort and protection provided by their new boots. They chase their goals and complete projects, finding reward where others find regret.
With the volume of footage acquired, we created an array of digital content that dived deeper into each person’s story and the remarkable qualities of the boots. Here are a few snippets.
